Dynamic Access Control Using Ontological Concepts

Access control is facing many challenges for information protection in ubiquitous and cloud computing. In particularly, dynamic access control is a central problem that contexts are ever-changing in volatile interactive applications. This paper proposes a model for privacy preserving which is a CA5W1HOnto-based dynamic access control that model makes use of the ontological concept using 5W1H to process the context information. According to this model access control strategy can be dynamically determined based on context elements and its attributes of subjects, in addition to objects and operations by using access control entities thus relatively easy to infer the dynamic access control both accurately and efficiently of contexts expressivity. Furthermore, we experimented the ability of the CA5W1HOnto-based dynamic access control model to provide correct responses by representing and dynamic access decision with reallife banking system scenarios.
